What would be the Markgräflerland with its picturesque villages such as Sulzburg without the mixture of home-style inns and the local gastronomy. "Pilgrimage" For decades, visitors from Switzerland, France and Germany in the legendary "stag". We like to assign the highest food rating of the restaurant guide in the premier class at Udo Weiler, Hans-Paul Douce Steiner and Steiner.

The somewhat unimaginative amuse at the beginning and the remarkable crème brulee at the end of the great dining experience marred only slightly. The cheese trolley is a haven of perfect pleasure.

Madame Steiner, the senior partner, leads the service with sovereignty and is familiar in their extremely large and deep vintage wine list very well. The ambience of the "deer" could do with a good overhaul, with the interior of getting on in years but many loved. The only real downside is the high price level.
