thoughts on individualism
When I look so in the world, I would be really sad. So much suffering and pain is present, not just somewhere in the Third World, even here in our country. But where does it all mean? Many people have wondered that and tried to offer solutions. Many people have failed thus. I will not venture to offer here a comprehensive solution that would be presumptuous of me. Nevertheless, I will pursue my thoughts and see where they lead me. It is Christmas, just at the time of this celebration of love and peace, we should make our thoughts.
Many of the solutions were, so to speak "from above", that they tried, the problems in the "system" to locate in the company and then a better "system" to propose and impose the company. I think such approaches are doomed to failure. What needs to change is not just any social system in the first place, because as we make our society is, in effect, a product of our own, we must change so that changes our life together.
Here I'll throw in a slogan that helps in my opinion, much to the misery in our world: individualism. Now, many will note here that this is a good thing after all. Only with the Enlightenment and then the following currents, the individual was actually important and valuable. I do not deny, but must keep it in mind the environment in which the philosophers and others wrote that established individualism. In their society, the opposite is the case, the individual man was bound by many things and was wedged. They propagated a liberation of the individual, so that the individual man can find himself. Then a very important and good news. Each individual is valuable. This led then, the notion of "self-actualization" ex. The man was regarded as literate and rational being who must make decisions themselves, which has to find himself.
This is something wonderful and important, we must lose in any case. But unfortunately this idea, as everyone thought him to excesses and Exaggerations out. Meanwhile, we have gone too far, the self-realization can have overboard. This leads to such events that young people fight for the sheer fun of other people to death, or at least seriously hurt. The Enlightenment had never wanted this, we must be aware - self-fulfillment must never be at the expense of others. Besides this is not the self-realization, but merely the acting out of animalistic instincts. Self-realization would be rather self-determination of people using the reason - the man is more than his instincts, he needs education to train his mind and thus shape its environment can be aware.
nationalistic thinking and other forms of group thinking are pure forms of it, because they limit the amount of people to pay attention to the more or less immediate environment. However, we have that luxury any longer! It is natural to give greater weight to his own group, but we must rise above our own nature. The bottom line is the sheer varieties of exaggerated individualism, because we want to be the welfare of our loved ones.
But long ago a much more radical and more difficult to be implemented demand was made: That we should be aware of all humanity and seek their welfare. First Line we should not think ourselves as people, as part of humanity, as citizens of a country, members of a culture or as individuals. I am not primarily Kraus Conrad, not a Swiss, not a student, but first and foremost a human being. The differences between me and an African, are smaller than our similarities. Or the difference between me and a woman. We should re-focus more on our similarities than our differences lay. Then, these differences into something beautiful and wonderful, an expression of the diversity of humanity as a whole. Hatred, fear, anger and all these negative feelings and attitudes, the following ones will come primarily from the fact that we have a Tell the difference. How can I but those who hate me is the same, except I would hate myself? Therefore, already the Bible says "Love thy neighbor as thyself" - and with our neighbor every person is meant, not only our compatriots and family members.
It is an interesting phenomenon is noticeable in many of the violent youths and young adults: they show a lack of empathy ability. That is to say that they do not succeed or that they do not prefer to sit in the shoes of their victims. You hurt people with a complete indifference to the pain of the victim. But this shows very well the Problem: It is important to their own fun, the other person is not respected. Who has empathy would probably not capable of such deeds. This attitude pervades large parts of humanity, we are selfish and want to satisfy our own desires in the first place - we call it incorrectly as "self-realization."
I have already noticed that for me attitudes such as nationalism just another expression of an exaggerated individualism. This may at first sound very paradoxical, but think about it is this: What is nationalism other than that one's own nation gives greater importance than all others? In this respect, this attitude differs in any way the fact that you own, the person in front of everyone else. Nation, person, family, Where is the difference? In any case, you unlawfully something important before anything much. As I have already written, first and foremost we are human.
This kind of thinking, the restriction on one's own group, often leads to denote scapegoats. That this is the case, has throughout history, confirmed again and again. What is a scapegoat at all? Originally, the term comes from Judaism. In an ancient ritual to the time when the Jewish Temple was still standing, a goat was selected, who had symbolically carry away the sins of the people. What we now call it, is not much different: We select a group of people to carry our own sins. Or, as Jesus has also been expressed, we look for the mote in our brother's eye and see not the beam in ours.
to what individualism has also performed is an attitude of mutual competition - all against all. In the business world finds this expression under capitalism, especially in his exaggerated art I will not claim here, as others have done, that capitalism is fundamentally bad and we should do away with it. It has its good elements and a healthy competition can also be very useful. And who is more trouble, is also allowed to reap the reward of his efforts, this is only fair. But Rawls has already noted that inequality in the distribution of resources can only be fair if this leads to a larger share of all. That is not the case, we need only look to our world. This selfish, excessive individualistic attitude has led to our exploitation of other peoples and nature. If something should change, then change must take place first and foremost in our hearts. This exaggerated individualism also leads to many things, including an exaggerated notion of privacy. It may not be, for example, that the family is a private matter. Parents should not with their children just do what they want. Nor should one do with his property what you want. You have a responsibility towards humanity as a whole in everything you do, including their own children. If, for example, the families of those looks that become such a violent people, then wonder one of the unfortunate condition of these people often do not - namely, their parents were often violent themselves to their children. I could cite many other examples where exactly lies behind this harmful attitude.
I was but now may not assume that I want a transparent person, or the abolition of the individual. No, this in no Case! We still have a responsibility to humanity, but concludes that even a man with us. This is found in the above-quoted sentence from the Bible. "Love your neighbor as yourself" You have to love yourself also, it also has responsibilities to himself. And against all others. I do not want to speak for other countries but here in Switzerland is very much of this selfishness reigns, this way of thinking prevails in many ways. Either we see ourselves as something better to do only because of our nationality and protect the interests of the Swiss and we want to defend the rights of the stronger, who could come up in our sometimes rather brutal economic system.
When will we learn that we are no better and no worse than our fellow human beings and have to fight together for a better world? We must not fight each other, even in such subtle forms, such as those prevalent in the business world. Those who are in some form of competition surrenders, who says that only "I'm taking out the right to be better than you!" You're no better or worse than anyone else! You are no better because you are Swiss. Still you are better because you're rich. Or because you possess a higher education. Instead of competing for money and power, we should be competing to greater love and humanity . Practice It does not help to say, "That may be all well and good, and certainly desirable, but the world is now time not such and who wants to survive, which now has to adapt time!" This is a cowardly position, stretching the weapons to fight before the test. If all people think like that, then, of course, never change. If we simply accept the status quo. Of course, the comfortable and the prevailing attitude these days of selfishness and of the competitive struggle is consistent with our nature. The change requires effort and willpower. But who says that things are as they are, and do not change can claim, just something. There are sufficient counter-examples in which we might take us a role model.
So I decide my Christmas thoughts. I wish for the coming year, an increase of love towards our fellow human beings and more compassion instead of condemning attitude, a move away from selfish, excessive self-realization to observe the dignity of every human being. One should not accuse me that I want to run a "cuddly" policy, because that is certainly not my intention. Sometimes it is necessary that we remain so hard because it is the best for the individual. But we can not from an attitude of hatred, contempt, and the distribution do (this is handled in many places), but from an attitude of compassion and love for people - we do not punish, to retaliate, we do to help the people. "Judge not, lest ye be judged." These words, we should probably take to heart again.

shock, oh horror, I've long since written more ... I'm going to change immediately! Unfortunately I have little sweaty, to report on the occupation, but that I make up immediately. After eight days, they went with a press conference to an end, which was also Rector and Director of Education Würgler powder were present. Aurélia Karlen, a good friend of mine is in the course of April move in with us because my mother wants to move to the U.S. with my father. A brief overview of the events and results of the last time (with views of planned).
Otherwise, I enjoy my free time and am enjoying the snow, which then trickles softly. Wish all together a beautiful holiday season and a happy new year!

The story is mainly a protest against the increasing debt and economy of universities, two points which I also find appropriate protest. They also call for greater voice for students, which I fully support. Hopefully find other universities in Switzerland, the courage to come out and to join the protests. We must now stand together, no one else takes our concerns seriously. If the protests remain merely a marginal phenomenon, nothing will happen, because everyone thinks that these are the protests of a small minority. This danger is already, as we see it, that the protests in Basel generate little media presence.
Unfortunately it so that all students do not support the claims. Nevertheless, I hope that can find a majority who go along. It would be wrong to give up now. If the protest is now paralyzed and collapses, we have achieved nothing and it was all for nothing.

Actually I like the fall ... But some women did not
Yes, that's right, I like the autumn actually quite good. Is it great, not too hot, not too cold, is already comfortably dark in the evening. Of course, the game I've forgotten. I like very wild. Now I like my good colleagues who are all very sociable contemporaries!

For the first time I start a blog entry with a quote, that is a quote from Michelle Hunziker, to show in the Migros newspaper. This quote has now encouraged me to write an entry.
Lustigerweise höre ich solch ähnliche Sätze (Sätze, die in die Richtung "ich finde keinen Mann" gehen) von eigentlich sehr gut aussehenden Frauen. Paradox? Nun, gehen wir diesem Phänomen einmal nach. Ich stelle zwei Theorien zur Erklärung vor, die eine von mir, die andere von Terry Pratchett entwickelt.
Meine Theorie ist die "Zu-Wählerisch-Theorie". Frauen, die so gut aussehen wie Michelle Hunziker, sind ziemlich wählerisch, was Männer anbelangt. Nähmen wir an, ich würde ihr nun zufälligerweise begegnen und hätte im Hinterkopf immer noch dieses Zitat von ihr. Nehmen wir weiter an, ich würde tatsächlich genug Mut aufbringen und sie ansprechen und dann what to say to: ". You complain so that no one wants to marry you Well, it can even try to play me." How would the likely reaction? Yeah, of course, would be something like: "?!!!! WWWWAAAASSS IIIIIIEEEEEHHHH HOW YOU REALLY ugly spider"
course, this is all purely hypothetical, and I can not really prove it. And empirically I can not, because I honestly do not know women who look so good. Anyway, a question that occupied me for some time: Which trees grow beautiful women? I've met in person that is no:-D
All right, let us proceed to the theory of Terry Pratchett. This is called the "Jerk Syndrome" theory. Beautiful women make most men very scared, so men think when they see a beautiful woman, she was always forgiven, and not even talk to them. But just "evil" men, right assholes (or just "Jerks", as Pratchett puts it) then actually do it - and so end up with beautiful women always marry the wrong person and they will never be happy (or only rarely). Frontline Has Stopped Working

Wow, it passed a while since I've written ... Well, then I probably time again :-) studies are now in full swing and it seems good to go. At least I like it great to study philosophy. Although there is plenty to do already, to read above all a lot.
Have recently "Stiller Has" discovered and like their music very much. Listen to the moment with the letter. And we do a morning brunch, my friends are invited to inaugurate the new apartment. Well, that's it for now ...

Time goes too fast. I can hardly get behind her the whole Entries to follow and as you can see, I write sporadically. And now I annoy the people on my friends list with a rather trivial, but for me valuable entry (a smug grin on my face pulls grad) When senseless-zeittotschlagendem searches the world-wide to hold things of which I did not know that I seek, I operations seek a film.

But here I could hardly pull together and, despite advanced hours (after all I have to work tomorrow), I found this overly long film (three dividers would? Explain the time) seen up to half . What is at stake because only in this aptly fitted subject line? I will tell you, just as clever ProSieben asking questions like "What does a choreographer? a.) b. dancing) singing "Hmmm, hard to call ... if there really smart people on average?

Now I'm back. Speak, my Internet connection is. Has taken a while ... On Saturday we all moved into the new apartment, then started setting up. The Internet connection had some issues still had to go buy wireless, but now it finally works. Therefore, I'm back. Meanwhile, also sees my room is no longer as ne construction site, although a few boxes are unpacked. But that will certainly. The university has now started again, look forward. The first lecture, which took place yesterday, I found good. Meta-ethics, interesting Subject.

Letters For Wedding Tables
Moving
is already a while since I posted last time. On 1 September Péter drove back to Vienna, from there it will then return home. We had a good time and looked at some in Switzerland. And afterwards the whole relocation stress began in earnest. Last Saturday we made the first time most of the boxes over. Today we left my father, he will indeed fly to the USA. Tonight, we come even Adrian Lanzrein and help us to take the furniture apart. And next Saturday is moving day then definitely, as we will be staying at the new location.
So, that's it for now, for a while now I'm going to write anything here until the new Place. Perhaps even more rapidly at the 15th prior to the study September. We'll see. Today

How To Make A Old Radio

Ujma kommmt Péter from Hungary to Switzerland. I've met him in Italy at the IPO, as I reported here already once. Also, I was with him in Rome and in Hungary with him last summer. This summer I went in July along with Christoph Mesmer to Peter and today he is therefore to Switzerland, where he until 1 September will remain. Let's see what we will do together ;-)

Brownies Around The World Uniforms

On Thursday I went along with Manuel, an old school friend from school, walking. We started on the Griesalp the Kiental rose high to Hohtürli where the SAC hut is Blüemlisalp (there were so early in the afternoon), according there was increased and then down to Oeschinensee, where we bathed, and then still climb down to Kandersteg.
This was the summary ^ ^ Well, the climb was steep and severe, especially because it was so hot. And it was nice to be able to cool in Oeschinensee. Unfortunately, I had been there right headache, probably because of the sun.
Yesterday I went with Jan and Christoph "Inglorius Basterds" view - super great film, like this kind of macabre and black humor. Afterward there was still pizza and (even more) of beer, the pizza we ate on the "Muubeeri-Kreisu"

Chapter 4: Frustration eating
It's the weekend. Thus, a reason to rejoice. Arts. Pleasure. Self-imposed obligations. One could achieve the optimum. So had I for today to attend a flea market planned. Yesterday, picked out the events calendar, Brietlingen am See, not all too far away. An ideal exercise. I thought. But we start over, we will find together the point at which the events developed towards the optimal state:
on Saturday to get up at 6:30 clock is ever so easily. Made from seven, but on the flea market and I'd rather be there early and early leave. Everything went as it should, the bathroom was not blocked, I was good at the time and soon I was in my car, driving on the highway. Just in time by 8 Clock I passed the city limits to follow Brietlingen to the flea market there, attached signs. Just before the lake was me queasy then slowly, as in the parking lot, which was clearly visible along the street, no cars were. At the flea market space aka where the flea market should have been, was no one. Only a large sign: Flea market Brietlingen 5.09.
I see here, the date had been covered over and something told me, was among the 22:08 .. Slightly frustrated, I cried
at home to let me know from the current daily paper, would be to find out any more than markets. In that time I was able to watch as three other cars in minimal Intervals, the site passed and stared into the square. Out of sheer compassion, I greeted everyone with a slight nod of the head and the driver took the well to confirm paved the way also in vain. Well, the phone call helped me even more because the other flea markets were just too far away. Thus, the only frustration pushed just below my larynx.

Only Karstadt took pity on me and opened its doors at nine, so that the car park money should be least not entirely in vain.

What good, after so much frustration? Food. Good food. Fast Food.

At McDonald arrived I drove with the car because I did not want to get off safely. I rattled down my notorious saying: "Hello, three chicken burger and a Coke, please."
was heard from the off: "At the time there's only breakfast."
I first had to drive to breathe deeply to the skin and not immediately answered
"I like anything from their breakfast. I'm going back! "
And just drove past the window of the McDonald-nice breakfast seller.
Now that I'm back home, I am again optimistic. I just lie down, sleep and then I do so, as I DO NOT HAVE THREE HOURS EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNING SPENT SO VAIN TO DRIVE THROUGH THE AREA, MONEY AND ALCOHOL WASTE TO AND NOT TO HAVE once had breakfast!

Is Cervix Hard Before Af

:-) So, I write again once inside. Meanwhile, all notes of the repeat tests, except one in eingetrudelt me. I have passed everywhere except in clinical psychology (which surprises me because I have this subject, I think, have learned very well and with some joy). Only biological psychology I miss, I've got everything. So looking at time that will hopefully soon.
Otherwise, my friend Peter Ujma from Hungary on 27 August in Switzerland, come to 1st September stay. Lydia Uhlemann, my ex-girlfriend, come visit me yet, but is still not clear exactly when. My father will soon leave the U.S. and now I get a new PC. So, that would probably all messages for now.

What Does A Fracture Clinic Do

Yes, I know I have not written for ages, but it should I update the time again.
The second semester is long gone, the repetition of written exams. Let's see how the notes got out ... Two I've given back, both enough.
War Rock Festival last weekend on Lake Brienz, pretty crazy. 'm With Aurelia gone, a good colleague, we both worked behind the counter, we had to pay for any entrance fee and were given vouchers for food and drink. Of course, I drank from it and to simply
;-) Oh, and by next semester I'm studying philosophy in the major and minor in psychology. Philosophy suits me better what my all of my friends. Some even noticed that they had asked all the time why I would have ever chosen psychology. Well, this is now fixed.
So, enjoy the summer people! Will I namely do. 12. September we restrain in the village of Uetendorf into it, rather we obtain a penthouse in the hotel restaurant crown. Degree at the station, Migros, Coop and Raiffeisen Bank also right there. As Good as It is almost not ;-)

What Should Wear For Piano Exam

The Student Council meeting is now so over. My party has declared me to group president, because Samuel Kullmann for half a year goes to Brussels and we need a replacement. In March, also at the elections, let's see how things are running. Maybe I will not re-elected so who knows? The initiative was, as expected, rejected by the student council. This will now be entered in the voting booklet that we send to students. Oh yes, I was also selected in the Social Fund Commission. Again, I have
rather good and rather poor classes this semester. Virtue ethics and logic are very interesting, biological psychology and emotion and motivation rather less. Next week, then begin even clinical psychology and social psychology. We'll see how the are ... The Essaytutorium will probably be quite steep.

Naruto Warcraft 3 How To Work

Oh dear, now I see grad, how long ago my last post. Well, a lot happened is indeed not only holidays. 've Just written all the checks, now I have to wait on the notes. Development of psychology I have already, a 5th Meanwhile, the next semester started and some interesting lectures coming up to me. Especially the logic introductory course is quite good, especially the teacher is a funny guy.
Oh yeah, me and Laura are now separated, but that's ok. Long live the single life! Prost * * Since the beer has now raised more time with his friends, what we use and also comfortable hanging out in the bar, to Ian Anderson plätschtert with his flute so if you understand me ...
Next Thursday We have another meeting of the Student Council are, and then again make a post here. See you then folks!
